Abstract

Device is intended for incorporation in a wall and comprises a u.v. lamp and a reflector; the radiations normally pass through a lamellar filter which directs the radiation obliquely upwards before passing outside through the cover grid. The box holding the lamp assembly is buried in the wall and is flush with the surface of the latter. The cover grid can be folded back over the outside of the box by a hinge and an articulation system; this includes a first fixed axle and a second axle. This system enables the cover to be tilted through 180 degrees outside the box and laid flat against the surrounding wall. For night use the cover can be opened so that the radiations can escape freely without any intervening obstacle; this enables the whole room to be sterilised without any risk of accident.
