Abstract

Articulated scoop assembly, partic. for handling radioactive products comprising a hollow cylindrical scoop of rectangular section, closed at one end, means for articulating it to the prongs of a fork forming part of the scoop-assembly body and spaced apart by a distance approximately equal to the width of the scoop, which is articulated in such a way that it can be displaced longitudinally w.r.t. the fork-carring body and means for locking the scoop in a position where it is coaxial with the body and partially shielded by the prongs of the fork.
