Abstract
Pistol has the barrel and breech block incorporated as a unit which is rotatable about the barrel axis between a firing position and a spent cartridge extracting position, with a cam which is arranged to cock the firing mechanism as the unit is turned from the firing to the extracting position, e.g. by engaging a follower which is rocked by the cam to cock the pistol.
