Abstract
Helmet consists at least partially of a material transparent to radiation of energy >60 KeV, and is provided with a dosimeter and a rate monitor, with audible alarm. The helmet is pref. of hollow skin construction, with the detector elements inside, these consisting of a dosimeter tube readable through transparent window in peak, a film dosimeter tag, a G-M tube and batteries.
