Compsn. whose colour varies under the effect of small pressure changes, comprises 15-40 wt. % choleseryl and/or cholestanyl chloride, bromide and/or iodide, and >=30 wt. % of (i) cholesteryl and erucyl carbonate, (ii) cholestanyl, and erucyl carbonat (iii) cholesteryl and oleyl carbonate, (iv) cholestanyl, and oleyl carbonate, (v) cholesteryl erucate, (vi) cholestanyl erucate, (vii) cholesteryl oleate, and/or (viii) cholestanyl oleate. Compsn. may be used in advertising devices, decoratios jewellery and clothing accessories.
