Abstract
Heater has set of parallel tubes, and plates perpendicular to the longtidunal axes of the tubes, covering the whole of the heat transfer surface, each having circular openings for tubes to pass through. The openings are surrounded by raised zones, pref. forming a repeated diamond pattern on the plates, and the points where the raised parts cross are provided with recesses, which align with similar recesses of adjacent plates.
