Pore-sealing appts. for use during the fabrication of multi-glazed and partic. double glazed windows, of the known type comprising a sleeve of the desired shape conforming to the pore or aperture and of predetermined size, provided in a sheet of glass forming part of a double glazing, and coated with an external sintered glass layer of low m. pt. Means are provided which mechanically retain the sleeve in the pore, and bear against the glass sheet to define the position of the sleeve after this has been inserted in the pore.
