Abstract

A powdery peroxide composition contains 89-92 wt.% solid powdered peroxide, 4-6 wt % water, and 4-6 wt. % is not 1 organic softener of flash point 100 degrees C asnd a b.pt. >150 degrees C, which hardly dissolves the peroxide, and which contains 0.02-0.5 wt. % wetting agent. The peroxide composition is used in contact substrates for unsatd. polyester resin lacquers, esp. contact substrates based on nitrocellulose. The composition has improved solubility in organic solvents, and in the contact substrates, and is stable on storage.
