Abstract

A finely woven textile support is impregnated with pref. a thermoplastic resin which forms a film on each side. An indentification mask is inscribed on one face, and the other face is secured to a textile article by heating and pressing. Heating melts the thermoplastic and seals in the mark. The tab can be securely fixed to a textile article, and the mark is not obliterated by subsequent textile treatments.
