Abstract

A grid having grid lines of a dark colour (e.g. blue) and of decreasing mesh size, is printed on a support, and the spaces between the grid lines are printed a lighter complementary colour (e.g. yellow). The diffraction effect produces the resultant colour (e.g. green) gradually increasing in depth across the support.
