Abstract
Haemagglutinating antigen prodn. for German measles virus. Process comprises inoculating a stable pig kidney cell layer with German measles virus, cultivating the virus in the cells, then submitting the cell layer to a complementary incubation until the conc. of the haemagglutinating antigen in the culture medium is >=4 units of haemagglutination per 0.025 ml. Antigen is used for the serodiagnosis of German measles.
