Abstract

Plant for the mfr of soft cheeses comprises a series of conveyors driven independently of each other; each recipient conveyor is designed for a different stage in the manufacturing process. Two consecutive conveyors are connected by an intermediate transporter which takes the recipients from one conveyors to the other. Finally the cheese is transferred from the honeycomb plates to a multi-mould and the plates are washed and returned for re-use. The plant is made up from unit assemblies which can be coupled together at will; they can be adapted to all types of mfr. and to any desired production capacity. The plant is very flexible and can accommodate various operational cycles.
