Abstract

Granules for distributing all types of agricultural chemicals consists of (a) an inert, solid, pref. non-absorbing core and (b) a finely divided absorbing powder, glued to the core (a). These granules have the advantage of being heavy, and may incorporated liquid active ingredients. In an example, granules contng. 10% of calcite granules, coated with a powder of 'Microcel E' (RTM) a diatomaceous earth, and China clay, the adhesive being a 60% solution of molasses. The granules are dried and then tumbled with parathion.
