Abstract

Four roll mill stand for metal rolling has the drive and follower rolls at right angles to each other. The upper and lower, resp. left and right planes of the vertical square support columns are arranged at right angles to the direction of rolling and are parallel to each other. Each of these supports one support element for one drive roll and one support element for one follower roll. The above construction whilst being simple is not bulky and yet strong
