Abstract

Packed viscous paste, such as packed pastes or yeast extract, hydrolysed vegetable protein, meat extract, soft soap, etc. consists of paste in water-permeable material (I) around which is a layer of water-impermeable material (II). Suitable (I) include fibre-reinforced cellulose and high wet-strength paper. Pref. (II) is polyethylene, polyester, polyamide or a copolymer or laminate thereof.
