Abstract

Cylindrical mould is packed with a paste that forms a highly porosity mass on heat treatment, is sealed, and heat treatment carried out. The porous mass is then removed from the mould, cut into required lengths and opt. finished, then used to pack a storage vessel prior to filling. Pref. used for LPG storage, e.g. for small containers attached to burners for stoves etc.
