Abstract

Holder enables cheeses to be centred, and prevents them from sliding after it has been turned over, on a maturing screen. Perpendicular studs on the support surface for the cheeses prevents them from moving parallel to the screen. Pref. the studs distribute the wt. of the screens and cheeses over a number of support points equal to the number of studs plus the number of screen feet, avoiding bowing of the screens and enabling the volume of material to be increased by a better load distribution. Only the base screen needs to be reinforced.
