Abstract

Appts. for forming granules from long stalk material consists of an annular cylindrical vessel with bores through it acting as draw plate. Rollers move over inner surface of vessel, either being driven, whilst vessel is stationary, or being held on fixed mounting whilst vessel rotates. Vessel has open top for entry of material, and closed base, and threaded ferrules are welded to the ends of the bores, the length of these being adjusted to suit material handled.
