Abstract

Elastomeric foamed polyurethane upholstery for motor vehicles. The material comprises several layers with different compression resistance capacities. A membraneless intermediate zone is placed between adjacent layers, the different layers having intercellular connections. Spec., the outer surface of the upholstery is covered by an integral impermeable, compact, high-strength urethane skin.
