Abstract

Presensitised printing device has a printing surface and a smooth flat surface. This is covered with a light-sensitive diazo resin so that it comes into direct contact with the metal. A stabilised diazotype metal surface is formed and on the surface a stable light-sensitive diazo coating is formed. The metal is Cu, Zn, al, Fe, brass, Ag, Sn, Pb, Mg, stainless steel, Cr, Mn, and/or Ni. Specif., the resin can be made from monomolecular diazotised amino-quinones - p-tertiary amino light-sensitive diazo-resins.
