Abstract

Press consists of a housing on which sevral deep drawing stations are mounted which operate synchronously with a transfer table which is disposed perpendicularly to the press stations. The deep drawing operation is carried out progressively from one station to the other to which it is carried automatically gripped in a pair of jaws carried by supports which move along the table. Any number of press heads may be used according to the operation to be carried out and since each press is controlled independently according to its own work, energy consumption is strictly proportional to the work desired.
