Abstract
The cleaning rod passes through a central bore in the suction piston so that it can move back independent of the piston. When a push rod is depressed to clean the nozzle by the cleaning rod, the piston is also moved forward and a retraction spring is also moved forward and a retraction spring is tensioned until a catch retains the piston.
