Abstract

Electrophotoconducting elements having a layer in which zinc oxide is dispersed in one or more resinous binding agents e.g. polyvinyl acetate, the zinc oxide being dispersed in the resinous binder at a low temperature e.g. below 15-6 degrees C. The dispersion medium may be, for example, a mixture of toluene (30 p.b.wt.) and xylene (10 p.b.wt.) when used with 50 p.b.wt. zinc oxide and 1.25 p.b.wt. polyvinyl acetate. The electrophotoconducting elements are useful in electrophotographic reproduction.
