Abstract

Cabinet for the elution and manipulation of a ratio isotope generator, having two access doors which can be locked during transport and a compartment for the reception and protection of a thick walled castle for the radio-isotope generator, having a column contg. a radio active material and closed by capsule seals; the compartment consists of two parts articulated on the base of the cabinet, designed to completely surround the lateral surface of the castle. A trap door is provided at the top of the cabinet for the introduction of a first flexible connecting tube provided with a needle at its end for introducing an elution solution through the upper seal capsule, while a second flexible connecting tube is provided which has a needle at each end, one of which passes through the bottom capsule, the other passing through the plug of a receiver supported below the compartment in an inclined cradle having a pivotable finger controlling the sliding of the receiver therein.
