Abstract

Method of elucidation of rock structure by seismic exploration by the transmission of acoustic waves from at least one emitter placed in a first position in a first well bore and their reception after passing through the underground strata by a number of receivers placed at different levels in a second well borehole, the signals being recorded and the time of propagation measured in the various strata and the characteristics of the waves measured. The exploration is repeated using a series of emitters at different levels and a receivers in the first and second boreholes respectively.
