Abstract

Appts. for curing photopolymerisable enamel coatings on electrical conductors comprises a tubular source of ultraviolet light, a reflector and a device for passing a coated conductor longitudinally through the appts. The reflector is tubular and surrounds the source of ultraviolet light, and each conductor passes through the reflector parallel to the axis of the reflector. The reflector has an elliptical transverse section. The appts. enables the enamel coatings to be uniformly cured.
