Abstract

The press has a matrix and a feed block in which two punches are axially movable. There is a powder measuring and feed device in the feed block, in which a movable sleeve forms a matrix extension. This sleeve is perforated by opening connecting to the measuring device. A mechanism raises the sleeve inside the block, after the tablet formation and releases the tablet from the matrix. There is also a tablet removal device.
