Abstract

Electrolysis vat comprises a drum constituted by two end discs of a perforated cover, mounted for rotation on two axles, and means provided on at least one of the sides of the vat for leading the current to longitudinal conducting bars with interior contacts, these current leading means being constituted by radial elements embedded in the corresponding end disc in insulating struts joining the two end discs. The construction of the vat provides good electrical insulation of the conductors disposed between the fixed axle of the drum at the interior contacts.
