Abstract

Dye composition for cytobacteriological investigations The composition comprises 0.3-7% brilliant green or malachite green, 0.2-8% basic fuchsin, and 0-5% azure II and/or azure I dissolved in water, an aqs. NaCl soln. methyl alcohol or glycerin. The composition is suitable for selective dyeing in cytological investigations of plant and animal cells, and of bacteria.
