Abstract

Serial plastics brooms are like the birch or heather brooms of roadsweepers. The entire broom (stick, twigs and binder) is moulded flat in one plane in an approp. injection moulder adaptable to an industrial press. After ejection from the mould, the plastics assembly is rolled up to give it its normal appearance.
