Abstract

The height of the box is greater than the axial length of its base which is of an expanded synthetic material e.g. polystyrene with a central flat elevation. All the edges of the container are rounded and the side walls have on their upper sections an annular peripheral groove for gripping the corresponding projections on the lid. The box is suitable for powdered substances sensitive to humidity, e.g. powdered instant coffee.
