Abstract

Floor covering of needled non-woven fabric impregnated up to two thirds of its height with binder according to main patent P 1635496.4 is rendered resistant to bacteria by incorporating in binder 0.05 - 1% fungicide or bactericide, esp. thiuram. Action of fungicide is not inhibited by binder or heat treatment.
