Abstract
PREPARATION OF Ta-Al BODIES FOR PRODN. OF ATOMISING FOIL CATHODES F7- Is effected by sintering Ta powder, of 100 microns size, under vacuum at 1800-2300 degrees C for 1-6 hours to give a body containing 5-50% void space and then immersing this in molten Al, so that the final substance contains 5-50% Al.
