Abstract

A conveyor in the upper part of the vessel raises hanks from the high temp. bath at one end and reintroduces them at the other; in front of the conveyor, jets of liquid flow at an acute angle to the direction of movement of the hanks. Avoids contraction and folding of the hanks by the action of the jets reducing the drag on them.
