Abstract

A pneumatic conveyor for transferring hollow plastic articles (F), e.g. bottles, to a transport station from which they can be moved to one or more finishing stations, in such a way that the articles are maintained upright and delivered in sequence, which consists essentially of an injector device (6) receiving air from a blower, through the central nozzle (2) of which the container is sucked in to the conveyor tube (1) which turns vertically downwards in a swan neck (3) and has at the end a throttling position (F) and guide piece (12) from which the container falls onto a perforated conveyor belt or perforated rotating disc (13). Air vents (10) are provided in the tube (1) around the swan neck (3) so that the containers fall by gravity to the exit.
