Abstract

The pulsed Doppler radar system has several remote measuring channels which are scanned successively by grid switches with triggering pulses in order to determine pulse propagation times. The measurement pulses are passed into a coincidence system with the triggering pulses or the rate pulses. This enables very precise range measurement pulses to be provided, even at high pulses repetition frequencies. The range of moving targets can therefore be determined very accurately. Stationary target signals are suppressed.
