Abstract

Amount of zinc dimercapto benzimidazolate catalyst is 0.13-0.44%. The catalyst does not effect speed of combustion and also acts as antioxidant. An example contained 15.4 % polypropylene glycol mol. wt. 2,000, 0.37% trimethylol propane, 2.06% toluylene diisocyanate, 3.58% plasticiser, 0.45% antioxidants, 62.3% ammonium perchlorate, 15.5% Al, and 0.13% of the catalyst. The composition was hardened 6 days at 40 degrees C.
