RÉSUMÉSmall object or subject for sugar-stuffing and the like. For a long time now, sugar-stuffing or other surprise items have been made that contain, inside, small objects having the appearance of an insect or any other shape that may cause amazement and amusement. To avoid any danger, in the event that such objects are accidentally swallowed, it is prescribed to make them from an edible material. Many attempts have been made in this direction, but they have all led, in practice, either to fragile objects and very delicate release from the mold before inclusion in their coating material, or at a relatively high cost price. . The present invention relates to the new application for this purpose of a known material, but whose particular treatment which is subjected to it, under determined conditions, has revealed that it behaves in an unexpected manner and leads to obtaining small objects or subjects with completely new characteristics. According to the invention, having a mold comprising at least one cavity, but preferably two juxtaposing in correspondence with each other by their parting line, is placed in this cavity and, preferably, in the one of them before closing the mold, a small quantity of corn broken into pieces or in the form of rather coarse semolina, after which the mold is closed and heated to a temperature of the order of 200 [deg] C which, according to an unexplained phenomenon, causes the swelling of this corn but which expands and fills the entire imprint by closely following its shapes. After opening the mold and unmolding, which is carried out without difficulty, an object or subject is obtained having the unexpected properties: To float as a supernatant in a liquid, while the broken corn, one of which has left, would have settled at the bottom; Not to be liquefied, nor decomposed, nor solubilized in this liquid; To simply take, on contact, a semi-flexible consistency reminiscent of certain plastics. On the other hand, this material satisfies the required conditions well since it is perfectly edible and assimilable by the body. It can also be colored on demand using any food coloring. The subjects or objects thus obtained therefore constitute bodies which differ from their counterparts by very specific structural characteristics, thus giving them the character of a new industrial product. According to a more particularly advantageous implementation, the broken or cornmeal used is slightly moistened before molding. You can also incorporate a certain amount of fat. ABSTRACT
Small object or subject for sugar-stuffing or the like, composed of corn which, previously broken into pieces or brought to the state of fairly coarse semolina, is placed in the impression of a mold, the latter being, after closure, heated to a temperature of the order of 200 [deg] C, which causes the swelling of this corn which, by expanding, fills all the capacity delimited by the imprint and closely matches its shapes.
As a new industrial product, any small object or subject for sugar-stuffing or the like having the above-mentioned characteristics.
