Afin de remédier à ces inconvénients, la présente invention a pour objet un perfectionnement consistant, en combinaison, à fixer l'une des extrémités du lacet à un organe fixé à proximité de la pointe de la chaussure, à faire glisser ce lacet sur des passants qui, montés sur les deux lèvres de la tige, c'est-à-dire de part et d'autre de son ouverture, sont munis de galets, et à munir l'autre extrémité de ce lacet d'un organe qui permet, successivement, d'exercer sur lui la traction nécessaire pour le faire glisser dans tous les passants précités jusqu'à serrage uniforme de la tige autour du pied, et de l'amarrer à l'un ou à l'autre de plusieurs organes d'accrochage prévus au sommet de la tige.
La fermeture de la chaussure est ainsi aisée, et son serrage est efficace, avec la possibilité, néanmoins, au skieur de régler facilement et instantanément le degré de serrage, en amarrant l'extrémité supérieure du lacet à l'un ou à l'autre des organes précités prévus au sommet de la tige. Cette possibilité permet, notamment, au skieur de passer, à n'importe quel moment et sans aucune peine, de la position de serrage maximal favorable à la pratique du ski, mais peu confortable, à une position de détente.
De toute façon, l'invention sera bien comprise et ses avantages, ainsi que d'autres caractéristiques, ressortiront bien de la description qui va suivre, en référence au dessin schématique annexé représentant, à titre d'exemple non limitatif, une forme d'exécution d'une chaussure comportant application de ce perfectionnement : Fig. 1 est une vue en perspective, à l'état fermé; Fig. 2 et 3 sont des vues respectivement de face et de côté en élévation, d'un passant; Fig. 4 et 5 sont des vues en perspective de la patte d'accrochage prévue à la partie supérieure du lacet.
A la fig. 1, 2 désigne une chaussure de ski de genre et de forme quelconques. 3a et 3b désignent les deux lèvres formées par la tige, de part et d'autre de son ouverture longitudinale; et 4 désigne la partie supérieure antérieure de la tige, en forme de rabat.
A proximité de la pointe de la chaussure, par exemple sur la lèvre 3a, est fixé un crochet ou autre organe similaire 5 permettant l'accrochage de l'une des extrémités du lacet 6. Sur les deux lèvres 3a-3b ainsi que sur le rabat 4 et à la partie supérieure de la tige 2 de la chaussure sont fixés des passants 7 qui, selon l'invention, consistent en une plaque rigide fixée sur la chaussure, par exemple par rivetage, et repliée sur elle-même pour former une chape à l'intérieur de laquelle un galet 8 est monté libre en rotation.
