Abstract

A steel beam to act together with concrete as a supporting composite structure for different slab systems. The structure is supported at supporting points at the area of the ends and comprises two web parts (1) and horizontal parts (2) extending outside thereof. The web parts (1) are adjacent at a distance from each other and interconnected at one edge of each web part (1) by means of an upper part (3). The web parts (1) and the upper part (3) constitute a space (4) for concrete. The steel beam comprises at least one peg member (7) whose one end is fastened to the upper part (3) and whose other end is pro-vided with an anchoring expansion or widening section (8). This peg member is arranged inside the space (4) defined by the web parts (1) and the upper part (3), in the area of the supporting points.
