Abstract
In transferring heat from flue gases 2, a so-called spray condenser may be used, in which the heat is transferred directly to small liquid droplets 7, which at the same time catch impurities. In this system the coolant is collected and purified in a tank or vessel 12 beneath the nozzle part 1. The heat absorption is achieved by means of two nozzles 6, 25 and after the second nozzle 25 a proportion of the steam is condensed in the flue gases 2, which substantially improves the efficiency of the arrangement. The heat can be extracted either in water- borne form from the bottom part 4 of the condenser and in airborne form from the heat exchanger 26. With this system, having two nozzles and internal liquid purification, a burner of specified output can be coupled directly to the connection 3 of the nozzle part 1. <IMAGE>
