Abstract

The invention relates to a system for preventing disturbances caused by mobile stations. In the system there is at least one mobile station centre (10) and several base stations (11) connected to it. The mobile stations (12, 12') are connected to the mobile station centre (10) through the base stations (11). The system includes an auxiliary base station (13) connected to the mobile station centre (10), the coverage of which auxiliary base station (13) defines the area (14) to be protected from disturbances. In addition, the auxiliary base station (13) reduces the transmission power of each mobile station (12') locked on to it.
