Abstract

The invention relates to a method and also an arrangement for working the method, for recuperation of heat from a gas flow in a system in which the gas flow is carried at least through a heat exchanger of the type functioning as an evaporator and being connected to steam generating means. Heat is recuperated from the gas flow both before it is led to the evaporator and after the evaporator. The temperature of the heat recuperated after the evaporator is increased by utilising absorption heat pump means and feeding thereto heat energy recuperated before the evaporator. Recuperated heat energy is forwarded from the absorption heat pump means to the steam generating means in order to increase the efficiency of the steam generation. <IMAGE>
