Abstract
The object of this invention is a method for recovering the energy from biowaste by the biowaste 1 being transported to the peat production area, where it is crushed and spread out along the surface of the peat strip 2 and mixed with the surface mass of the peat or covered in a cavity 4 in the peat strip 2 using the orifice material 5. The prevailing conditions in the peat keep the biomass in a state which is such that no energy- wasting fermentation (rotting) takes place. The mixture of peat and biomass is recovered for burning cut peat or sod peat using the same equipment as is used for the normal recovery of peat. <IMAGE>
