The present invention relates to a collection means which can be used in particular for collecting empty milk cans prepared for collection.

After-use has become more common in various groups of goods, and thus milk or similar cans have also been included in the collection. A major problem when collecting Mana 10 has been the non-standardized handling of cans, which means that the cans are in a very bulky condition when placed in a collection container.

There are some ways in which the space requirement of cans can be reduced.

15 One is to seal flattened cans in a non-flattened can.

The method is cumbersome and results in only a partial reduction in the space required. Another method, disclosed in Finnish patent application 944150, is to cut a transverse incision in the immediate vicinity of the bottom of the can, extending from one corner to the opposite corner, after which the can is folded so that the cut two sides are pressed against the uncut sides. The can thus require a very small space and remain in shape, as well as easy to stack.

The object of the present invention is to further develop the collection and storage of cans, in particular treated in the latter way, so that the maximum number of cans can be kept in a clean bundle and conveniently stored and transported for after-use.

The above object of the invention is achieved as set out in the appended claims.

The invention will now be described in more detail with reference to the accompanying drawings 2 97790, in which:

Figure 1 shows a few basic form embodiments of a collection device belonging to the whole of the invention. Since the can to be inserted inside the collecting means has a cross-section substantially at a 90 ° angle, except for the base, it is preferred that at least one inner side of the means forms a corresponding pattern. Thus, Embodiment A in Figure 1 is of the type which forms an angle of substantially 90 ° at both opposite edges, an inner angle at one end and an outer angle at the other, respectively. Once the desired number of cans have been stacked inside the device, it is easy to stack the device and the cans 25 inside it with the corresponding package.

Option B in Figure 1 includes only one corner, with the other side straight. It is clear that in terms of stacking cans inside the device, this embodiment is no different from the previous one, but in terms of stacking the finished bundles, the exact stacking is limited to two "packages" with flat sides facing each other.

Alternative C in Figure 1 shows the structure of the device consisting of a 97790 plate-like part with an opening of a shape corresponding to the previous devices. If two such plate-shaped means 1 are placed to support the same cans, a handy table rack is created.

5 In practice, the cans can be stacked in each device to such an extent that the displacement of the can relative to the device 1 caused by the bottoms of the cut cans 2 approximates the length of the can. This is illustrated in Figure 2, which shows a complete package of means 1 and cans 2, in which the bottoms 3 of the cans always cause a small shift to the position of the next 10 cans.

The arrangement of the device according to the invention can be very diverse. Thus, Figure 3 shows one such. It has means 1 in a series of means, whereby one means is detached from one end for use as a stand and the other means 1 at an angle to the previous relationship form a support for storage, for example on a table.

With the device according to the invention, a suitable rack can be used which supports the overall structure in the desired manner and makes the collection of cans a pleasant operation and thus promotes collection.

Thus, for example, it has a wall-mounted, generally plate-like part 4 with inwardly folded folds 7 in the region of the lower part 25. At the lowest part of the rack 4, there is a support plate or rod 6 which supports the collecting means 1 from below.

It is clear that the support 6 on which the device 1 comes with cans can have a shape other than a plate or a rod and in particular can be shaped to support the device 1 in a different way than shown. In addition, by means of the support 6, it is possible to provide an advantageous feature that, when supporting 4 97790, it also performs the support of cans when the collecting means is insufficient. Thus, a spring can be placed in the support, which raises the support upwards and thus flattens the collecting device and the cans inside it, holding them in place.

In Fig. 4, Δ is indicated by reference numeral 5 as bonds which can be opened when the cans have filled the internal free space of the collecting means. In practice, this means that the bandages 5 are opened one at a time when more space is desired. It will be appreciated that there are a number of 10 ways in which a state such as that shown can be made to enlarge if desired. For example, a separate bond may be used around the top of the collecting means, an open tear adhesive bond between the inner surfaces of the top of the means, or some type of partition structure that is torn or torn open as needed. A part can be easily added to a separate rack, such as the one described above, which forms a support for the can when it is desired to cut an incision enabling the invention in the immediate vicinity of its base. By using the front surface of the scaffold structure as a support for a knife or other cutter, the incision described above is obtained in the correct position. The stops in the rack take care of the correct depth of the incision.

In order for the system according to the invention to provide a well-sized structure even when the collecting means is deficient, it is easy to develop different ways of tying the means so that the cans placed in it remain in place. One of them is shown above in connection with the description of the stand according to Fig. 4.

The simplest way to support the cans contained in the collection means is to put a clamp on the top of the collection means 1, which squeezes the top against the wall against the wall from its free area.

The clamp can be of any type. Even a sturdy rubber tire drives the case.

Another way is shown in Fig. 5, which has a rack, for example 5 of which the plate-like background 8 rests on cans when the collecting means 1 is raised between the comb-like part 9 of the rack. As the can stack grows, the placement of the collecting means in the "comb" 9 is reduced to make room inside it.

For example, the structure of the collecting means illustrated in Figures 1A and 3 is particularly advantageous in that it supports the cans to be loaded therein on practically all sides. In addition, the cans can be stacked inside the device 1 when the lower part of the device is folded outwards and not inwards as shown. For example, folding into the shape 15 shown in Fig. 3 can be performed only after all the cans that fit therein have been placed in the device. Folding binds the "package" into a tight whole.

Any kind of fasteners 20 can be placed in the collecting device according to the invention for hanging it. The hanging can be performed by means of the rack solutions described above, but also by using a perforated fastener attached to the collecting means, a sticker fastening or any fastening or hanging methods used in various fields.

According to the invention, the collecting means is made in particular of cardboard made of recyclable material, possibly already recycled material, into which suitable folds are made for placing in the desired shape. Thus, both the collection means itself and the materials to be collected therein, i.e. the cans are fully recyclable. Plastic materials are also suitable for this purpose, because when cans are recycled, plastics are separated from them in any case.

It is clear that the direction in which the Vs of the cut cans open in the stacking situation, i. the direction in which the collecting means is located is not relevant to the application of the invention.

The collecting device according to the invention is a suitable platform for advertisements, in which case the distribution of the devices and possible racks could be paid for by the advertiser. This, too, would contribute to the collection.

The invention is in no way limited to the specific embodiments described above, but can be modified and applied in any way that falls within the scope of the appended claims.
