Abstract

The invention concerns a sauna bench which can be moved along the wall of the sauna. The bench is provided with support rails 1 which are fixed to a support structure, such as the wall of the sauna, as shown in Figure 1, and the short ends of the bench are provided with pins 6 with rolls 7 which have been placed in the support rails 1 and have been arranged to bear on these for moving the bench in relation to the support rails 1. Also at the short ends of the bench, at a distance from the pins 6, there are movable carriers 10, and the support rails 1 have a fixture for the carriers 10 for the purpose of locking the bench in the position of use. Thus, a bench in the transport position can be moved either from its position next to the wall to the use position and locked in this position by means of the members 10, or it can be moved from the use position to the wall. By means of this construction, the vertical setting of the bench can be determined on site. The construction also facilitates cleaning and allows space to be saved if the sauna area is being used, for example, as a washroom or for drying washing. <IMAGE>
