Abstract

The invention concerns a suction cleaner nozzle which is elongate in the direction of a given long axis 5c and comprises a first end 5a and a second end 5b and a long inlet opening 7 which lies essentially in the direction of the long axis 5c. According to the invention, the inlet pipe 3 of the suction cleaner is connected to the second end 5b of the nozzle via an attachment part 6 which forms an angle of between 30 and 90 degrees between the long axis 5c of the nozzle and the inlet pipe 3. The combination looks like a broom and it is used with sweeping movements. The nozzle 5 can be provided with a brush part 12 which can advantageously be turned into a brushing position or a carpet position, in which latter position the brushes are directed sidewards. The brush part 12 can advantageously also be used in order to completely or partially cover the suction opening 7. <IMAGE>
