Abstract

The present invention relates to a method for the processing of pulp by acid delignification. The invention is particularly suited to chemical pulp processing in a process in which the screen room is ideally located with a view to reducing the reject quantity and reprocessing of the reject. The method according to the invention is characterised in that the coarse reject from the screen room 28 is led to the front of the main line acid stage 22 without processing it outside the main line. <IMAGE>
