Abstract

The invention relates to a process and a device for slipform casting. According to the process, on a stationary casting foundation 12 a stationary concrete element 9 is configured around braced steel wires 8 by means of a movable slipform casting machine 1. According to the invention, a periodic pulsating direct current is generated between the slipform casting machine 1 and the steel wires 8, the slipform casting machine 1 with its sealing 7 and forming apparatus 15 constituting a negative electrode (cathode) and the steel wires 8 and the casting foundation 12 a positive electrode (anode) for the generation of an electro-osmosis effect specifically in order to dehumidify the concrete 10 around the steel wires 8 and conduct the drying water to the sealing 7 and forming apparatus for cleaning and lubrication thereof. <IMAGE>
