Abstract

The invention relates to a purification plant for sewage, which plant includes an effluent pipe 1, which leads to the purification plant, and the mainly organic material 2, which is placed in the purification plant and to which the sewage arriving from the effluent pipe has been conducted. Purification plants for sewage are large in size and they are not suitable for a sparsely populated area. A purification plant in accordance with the invention possesses a framework consisting of a bottom 3, side walls 4 and a lid 5, in which framework the organic material 2 is placed such that it can be moved, and such that heating members 6 for heating the organic material are located in the vicinity of the bottom of the framework. <IMAGE>
